In Times Square....by this point in our Sweet-16 journey,,,I was ready to sit and listen to some great street performers and the girls took off exploring Times Square as the lights started to get brighter and brighter. Posted by Picasa

Friends,,,,great friends. What more could a birthday girl ask for,,,shopping, eating,,,friends and fun! Posted by Picasa

Riding the subway....on this beautiful Sunday the subway we were on at this point was actually closed for an hour about 25minutes after we got off for a bomb scare....I was so happy the fear that had gripped NYC that day seemed to avoid us and the girls had no clue of the excitment that had been going on in the city the day we were there. Posted by Picasa

We first shopped in Soho and then walked down Canal Street to shop [we were asked every few seconds,,,"You want louie? Coach? I got bags" from the vendors [as you see buying fake handbags is not allowed, but they pegged this crew as a bunch of girls who might like designer hand-bags! This is outside of Wo Hop where we had lunch. Across the street was 20 Mott Street where your Daddy and I got engaged. Posted by Picasa

We went to New York City for your Sweet-16 Birthday Celebration....here is the birthday crew infront of a statue of the famous picture of the skyscraper workers at lunch! Posted by Picasa
